Arkansas Man Killed on the Job in Oil Patch
STANLEY, N.D. (AP) — An Arkansas man working in the western North Dakota oil patch has been killed on the job.
Stanley Police Chief Kris Halvorson tells KXMC-TV 51-year-old Alan Eberhard of Harrisburg, Arkansas, died at a hospital after an incident at Dalton Logistics on Tuesday.
Halvorson says Eberhard was working on a payloader hose when the forklift on the machine collapsed, pinning him.
Eberhard's body was sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
