Authorities Investigating Belfield Shooting

BELFIELD, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Bureau of Criminal Investigation is looking into a reported shooting in Belfield.

City resident Ken Newton tells KXMB-TV a man who was living in his home and working in the area was injured in a shooting on his property, and Newton's wife says the man was taken to a hospital in Bismarck.

Belfield police declined comment, but a BCI spokeswoman confirmed an investigation.
