The Autumnfest Parade scheduled for Saturday, September 19th has been cancelled due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.  According to an article in the Bismarck Tribune, organizers say the parade will be back in 2021, and it will be bigger and better than ever before.  The Autumnfest parade is one of the biggest parades in Bismarck Mandan from both a participation and attendance standpoint each year.

Autumnfest is a traditional all American parade, with bands that come from all over the area to perform, beauty queens, community organizations, clowns, horses and floats.  Thousands of people from all over Bismarck and the area attend this event every year.  "Fall into the celebration" is the them.  This kick-off to Autumn will truly be missed by the community.
