The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has wreaked havoc on all of our lives. "Life can change in the blink of an eye" became more than a cliche expression, thanks to this illness. Now, we have to ration toilet paper and spend most of our time at home. But one local family has found a way to spread love to Bismarck-Mandan, and now the world. Image

When you're walking or driving around town, you may notice doors and windows donning hearts. This is all thanks to a family that has gone viral for their quarantine art project. Mandy Gill, a mother of three, came up with the decoration idea after seeing a post online. Now, people around the world are decorating their windows and doors with paper hearts.

This is such a simple, yet effective way to send each other a message of love when we all need it most. All you need are scissors, paper, tape, and a door (or window) to decorate for everyone to see. After you decorate, you can post your artwork on the Gills' Facebook group called #aworldofhearts.
