It's kind of funny, because I just did a story how Bismarck wasn't even one of the Top 10 safest in North Dakota, but when it comes to the rest of the nation?  We're good.

A new study found the safest and least safe cities in the U.S., based on things like terrorist attacks, mass shootings, crime rates, and natural disaster risk. The safest are Columbia, Maryland and Yonkers, New York . . . the least safe are St. Louis and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Everyone's worried about their SAFETY on some level . . . and if you're worried about it enough to RELOCATE over it, here's what you need.

Wallet Hub just ranked the 182 biggest cities in the U.S. from the safest to least safe.

The rankings are based on 41 factors, including terrorist attacks . . . mass shootings . . . murders . . . traffic deaths . . . natural disaster risk . . . identity theft . . . and job security.

And based on all of that, the safest city in the country is . . . Columbia, Maryland.The rest of the top 10 are:  Yonkers, New York . . . Plano, Texas . . . Gilbert, Arizona . . . South Burlington, Vermont . . . Virginia Beach, Virginia . . . Bismarck, North Dakota . . . Nashua, New Hampshire . . . Chandler,  Arizona . . . and Warwick, Rhode Island.

The least safe city in the country is . . . St. Louis.
