The Bismarck Larks, SCHEELS, and Bismarck Magazine are looking for the "Hidden Hometown Heroes" in the Bismarck-Mandan community!

Many people love comic book heroes but, as we all know, those are pretend heroes. Even though fighting bad guys and saving cities from total domination are cool, those stories do not compare to those of real life, everyday superheroes. And it is important for us to lift up those real life heroes and recognize them for being exceptional humans!

The Bismarck Larks, along with SCHEELS, and Bismarck Magazine are celebrating the heroes of our community! So, the Larks are asking you to nominate the hero in your life. This year, "Hidden Hometown Heroes" is focusing on individuals affected by a disability.

Do you know a "Hidden Hometown Hero" with a disability, or a hero who helps, supports, and cheers on people with disabilities?

According to the Bismarck Larks' website, the community is being asked to nominate "heroic individuals who live with a disability and people who help, support and cheer on those with disabilities." Once the nominations are all in, 15 nominees will be highlighted in the May issue of Bismarck Magazine. Then, on Monday, May 3, the community can vote for their favorites! And "The top six will be recognized in a BIG WAY at the ballpark this summer." Get more details and nominate your hero at northwoodsleague.com.

If you know someone who is worthy of recognition, make sure you nominate them for "Hidden Hometown Heroes!"
