Snapchat is known as 'the fastest way to share a moment.' In this case, it was the fastest way to identify the suspects that vandalized the Sleepy Hollow Theatre and Arts Park.

On July 8th, vandals smashed light bulbs, broke a window in the theater's hospitality suite and spray-painted costumes, wigs, and mirrors, according to authorities. Bismarck Police Department has said that the social media app, Snapchat, was instrumental in helping them identify the vandalism suspects.

The Bismarck Tribune has reported that the suspects are ages 13, 15, and 17 years of age and have been cited for burglary and criminal mischief.

The vandalism at the venue also forced a cancellation of a show and resulted in approximately $4,000 worth of damage, according to Executive Director Susan Lundberg.

Since the vandalism occurred, there's been lots of community support reaching out through social media help out Sleepy Hollow. Fundraisers have also been started to help out the theater.

In this instance, social media was extremely beneficial. Maybe instead of 'the fastest way to share a moment,' Snapchat's slogan can be 'the fastest way to solve a case.'

(This is the only possible thing I can follow up that last statement with.)
