According to Bismarck State College, they have narrowed the search for the next president down to three candidates. The three candidites will now have to interview with the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education on which one will become Bismarck State Colleges next president. They will be interviewed on March 26, 2020 and the North Dakota Board of Higher Education is expected to announce which one will be the next president. Tim Mihalick Co-chairing the BSC Presidential Search Committee said, “We are excited as the process moves forward. We owe a debt of gratitude to the search committee members who volunteered time and will allow us to move the candidates on to the interviews on March 26."

The three finalists are,

Dr. Clark Harris
Special Assistant to the President
Laramie County Community College

Dr. Douglas Jensen
President and CEO
Rock Valley College

Dr. Philip Klein
Dean of Health and Public Safety
South Piedmont Community College
