BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a fire scorched about 10 acres of land southeast of Bismarck.

The Bismarck Rural Fire Department says a landowner had done two "controlled burns" on his property Saturday morning and thought the fires were out by noon.

But the fire rekindled, prompting the landowner to call 911 shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday night.

Firefighters put out the blaze by 9:30 p.m.

Authorities say no one was injured and no structures were burned.
