The accolades keep pouring in for Carson Wentz and it's no surprise, given the season he's had to this point.

Wentz was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for October. The Philadelphia Eagles were undefeated in October and Wentz threw for a franchise-best 14 touchdowns while going 89 of 148 for 1,247 yards during the month.

The Eagles currently sit in first place in the NFC East with not only the best record in the NFC (7-1), but also the best overall record in the NFL. The team went 5-0 in October and didn't score less than 26 points in any game throughout the month. They also have yet to score less than 20 points in any game this season.

The 14 touchdowns thrown by Wentz this season are just two shy of his 16 touchdowns during his entire rookie season. Overall, Wentz has thrown for 19 touchdowns, which is tied for most the NFL (DeShaun Watson).

The Eagles will host the Denver Broncos (3-4) on Sunday at noon.
