The top ten NFL players were named on Monday night (June 25th) amongst the NFL's 'Top 100,' as voted on by the players. Carson Wentz's spot within the top ten was revealed.

Wentz claimed the #3 spot of all NFL players on 2018's 'Top 100' list. The Philadelphia Eagles franchise quarterback was having an MVP-caliber season before a season-ending injury in Week 14. Not just fans and sports writers noticed the talent Wentz possesses, but so did the rest of the players in the NFL.

Only New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown finished ahead of Wentz on the list at #1 and #2, respectively. The 'Top 10' players are as follows:

1. Tom Brady
2. Antonio Brown
3. Carson Wentz
4. Julio Jones
5. Le'Veon Bell
6. Todd Gurley
7. Aaron Donald
8. Drew Brees
9. Von Miller
10. Aaron Rodgers

Wentz didn't make the list of the 'Top 100' in his rookie season, so the jump to the #3 spot in the NFL is all that much more impressive.

By now, you've seen the numbers. Wentz led the Eagles to an 11-2 record before his injury while completing 60 percent of his passes for over 3,200 yards and 33 touchdowns. He came in second in the league in touchdown passes to Russell Wilson's 34, but Wilson also needed three more games than Wentz to eclipse that mark.

Wentz was also named to his first Pro Bowl and named to the All-Pro second team.

The Eagles landed five players total in the 'Top 100': Carson Wentz (3), Zach Ertz (68), Fletcher Cox (69), Lane Johnson (95), and Malcolm Jenkins (96).

The Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams tied for the most players voted to the 'Top 100' with seven players each.

Congrats to Carson Wentz on landing a top-three spot amongst the best players in the NFL.
