It took seven rounds, but in the end it was the Minot Minotauros on top, beating the Bismarck Bobcats in an overtime 3-2 in Minot.

With this loss, the Cats' hope for home ice advantage in the playoffs grow dim.  At this stage, the odds of catching up with second-place Aberdeen are a long shot.

Huba Sekesi tied the game in the waning moments of the third period, putting the game in overtime.  Tim Donohue scored the winning goal for Minot in the shootout.

The Bobcats hope for payback against Minot Saturday night at the V.F.W.  Click here for ticket availability, and follow the Bismarck Bobcats on SuperTalk 1270 or SuperTalk1270.com.
