What is Kitty City? Kitty City is a sanctuary for disabled and FIV+ cats, located in Mandan. Not only are they are permanent residence for special needs cats, they also take in healthy cats and rehome them. And what makes Kitty City a unique rescue is that it is a free-range home to its residents. The cats at Kitty City are not in cages. In fact, they have freedom to roam and play like normal house cats.

The rescue is a nonprofit organization, so everyone involved is truly doing this out of love for the cats. Kitty City's website says they rely on donations, volunteers, and fosters to help care for all the cats. And some cuddle time and socialization with these fur balls is a great way to help the cause. Learn more about Kitty City from their website and Facebook page.

If you are looking for a pet, you should really consider adoption! There are so many animals who need furrrever homes. And a shelter pet is so worth it. I adopted my cat, Raspy, nearly three years ago! He is the most loving being on planet earth. I hope to adopt more cats, like my sweet boy, in the future.
