Bismarck-Mandan's NO KILL FACILITY, The Central Dakota Humane Society is getting new facilities on its current location with plans to build another facility in Bismarck.

The  current complex, north of Mandan has broken ground for a 70-animal facility that will house new office space and house the cats. The current facility will replace the current building which has been in operation for close to 40 years. The current building is in need of repair. It was best to build a new building to replace the current building that has a roof that leaks in rain and snow storms and is in desperate need of repair.

The date for completion is February 1st, 2017. The new facility will be a steel structure. CDHS has another building at this location that houses dogs, which is a newer facility.

There are plans for a new facility in Bismarck by the Missouri Valley Complex where CDHS owns 8 acres of land. The plan is to operate both facilities in Mandan and Bismarck.

The Central Dakota Humane Society is always in need of volunteers and to donate or participate in fund-raising events, visit the CDHS website.
