Check Out The New North Dakota Driver’s License Design

North Dakota is getting a new driver's license style.

According to a post from the North Dakota Department of Transportation, your driver's ID will look a little different in the near future.  Here's a look at the new layout for your driver's license.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation says these new licenses will have the very latest in technology.

The exact date of when this new license design goes into effect wasn't mentioned but it did say they are coming to a driver's license office near you soon.  The new design features updated security measures, and it will also make it harder for counterfeiting.

Hopefully, these new licenses will have better camera technology and I can actually take a decent photo for once. I have to be honest.  I don't think I've ever taken a driver's license photo I've actually liked.

Keep in mind, your current license or photo ID is still valid in North Dakota until it expires.

It was also mentioned several times in the comments that the state logo is gone, which seems to have ruffled some feathers as well.  Other comments include "that these IDs look so plain", and "What happened to Legendary?".

Change is never easy, but one thing is for certain, life is always about change.  Nothing ever stays the same.  Even driver's licenses.
