It's tournament season in North Dakota and this week it's girls basketball.  Langdon-Edmore-Munich earned the top seed for this week’s North Dakota Class B state high school girls basketball tournament that will be held in Grand Forks.

Langdon-Edmore-Munich will play an opening-round game on Thursday, March 5 against Hettinger-Scranton in the Betty Engelstad Arena.

Grafton, the No. 2 seed, will play a 1 p.m. game against Rugby.

Trenton, the No. 3 seed, will play a 2:45 p.m. game against Bismarck Shiloh Christian.  In the region 5 tournament in Mandan, Flasher was looking for their first state tournament appearance in school history, however it was Shiloh Christian that came back in the second half to pull off the 51-50 win.  This is the 2nd straight appearance in the the state tournament for Shiloh Christian.  Best of luck to the Skyhawks.

Central Cass, the No. 4 seed, will play an 8:15 p.m. game against LaMoure-Litchville-Marion, the No. 5 seed, at 8:15 p.m.

Championship and consolation semifinals will be held on Friday, March 6 with the championship game scheduled for 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 7th at the Betty Englestad Arena.
