How can you go wrong with Charley Pride! The great classic country music continues in The Pavilion at Prairie Knights Casino with Charley Pride, a member of the Grand Ole Opry and has racked up as many as 39 number one hits on the country Billboard charts. In 2000, Charlie Pride was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

In the early days, Pride has a love for baseball and it has never ended as he wanted to become a professional baseball player. Today, Pride is a minority owner of The Texas Rangers baseball team. While playing baseball in his early years, he was encouraged to pursue a music career and one thing lead to another and the rest is history.

Charley Pride has been nominated for various awards through out his career and is a Grammy Award and CMA recipient. At the age of 75 (76 on March 18th) Charley still performs many dates through out the country and around the world. This will be Pride's sixth performance in The Pavilion at PKC.
