The crazy thing about what's gripping our nation, our world, is now HERE. The coronavirus has arrived in Bismarck, North Dakota. What seemed so far away, and so unreal, is now among us. A young lady of just 21 years old, Alicia Rich has tested positive for the virus. She is employed at the Bismarck Airport, where she may have picked it up there.

Yesterday, I was at a supermarket, picking up some things, and I ran across some optimistic employees, I asked them how things were going, how business has effected their lives. After a couple of minutes of light conversation, I asked a women about five feet away from me, if I could borrow her pen, in hopes of writing down their names. I got a first hand dose of how coronavirus has altered our social skills. "I'd rather not" the lady said, looking at me like I just came out of a moldy sewer. This is the world we are living in now. So imagine how Alicia first felt, after finding out she had contacted the virus. The feelings of being scared, for any possible reactions of hate from other people.

She is standing tall, and has some smart advice for her generation. For more on this story, click here.
