According to Deadline, the name of the show is Ransom Canyon.  The show will follow three ranching families and their intersecting struggles in the Texas Hill Country.

Netflix has ordered 10 episodes for the first season; each show will be 60 minutes long.

Ransom Canyon is based on the romance book series by author Jodi Thomas "Ransom Canyon".  The show is being compared to another Netflix series  "Virgin River".

Besides Josh Duhamel, the show Ransom Canyon will also star Minka Kelly.

If Minka Kelly looks familiar to you it's probably because of her role on the highly acclaimed TV Series back in the 2000s "Friday Night Lights".  The gorgeous actress has been in several movies and shows since those days.

So, when will Ransom Canyon be available on Netflix?

Like so many shows, the writer's strike pushed this series way back.  Filming was supposed to start a while ago in New Mexico.  The only thing I could find out was that it will likely be late 2024 before we see the first episode of Ransom Canyon.

With Yellowstone set to return in late 2024 as well (the 2nd half of season 5) we could be in for an overload for these types of shows.  No doubt fans will soak it all in with the success of the Yellowstone franchise and all of its spin-offs. I for one am waiting for a 2nd season of 1883.  I hope it happens somehow.
