Crooks Butt Dail Cops, Get Busted

Sometimes crooks are not the smartest. But then again, sometimes just bad luck or good luck, depending on what side of the fence you're on, can play a roll in helping the cops bring the crooks to the Cross Bar Inn!

Early Thursday morning (3/19) in Mankato, MN the sheriffs department (Blue Earth County) received a 911 call. The dispatcher could not establish a conversation with the caller, but did hear a conversation. The discussion the party was having suggested they were in the process of committing a crime.

The dispatcher stayed on the line listening for more than 30 minutes and the caller's location was eventually traced to just north of the Mankato city limits.

Cops were dispatched to the area, they found Kyle James, Jeramie Ites, hiding inside the Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office Gun Range.  Jessica Friedrichs, meanwhile, was found waiting in a nearby vehicle inside Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.

The crooks were found in possession stolen goods from a supply store near by.

It was discovered one of the crooks accidentally butt dialed a Blue Earth County police dispatcher.

The three are in jail and the Sherriff refers to these three as  "frequent fliers", meaning they have had contact with these crooks in the past.
