Well, it's on!  The 3rd annual Dakota Fish Fest Walleye Tournament at Heart Butte Dam (Lake Tschida) on Saturday, June 13th.  The cost of the tournament is $150 dollars per team and it will be limited to the first 70 teams.

Cash prizes will be awarded for the top 10 anglers.  They include $2,500 dollars for first place.  2nd place will receive $1180.  3rd place will score $760.  4th place will receive $700.  5th place gets $500.  6th place will pay out $420.  7th place gets $380.  8th place walks away with $290.  9th place scores $200 and 10th place will pick up $170.

In addition, the largest Walleye will earn $300 dollars thanks to Veracity Motors, and the largest Northern Pike will make $200 dollars thanks to Curtis Rud Oil.

Dakota Fish Fest is also looking for volunteers to help out with the tournament.

There will also be a Dakota Fish Fest kids tournament running at the same time on June 13th at Lake Tschida.  All fishing supplies will be provided.  The cost is only $10 dollars per youth angler and it will be limited to the first 50 kids.  Prizes will be awarded for the "largest bass", "largest fish" and "most fish."
