Rutgers University is once again in the spotlight for controversial coaching from its newly-hired athletic director.

A few months ago, Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice made headlines for his abusive coaching style that was made public from taped practices. He was fired. Soon after that Rutgers also let go of the athletic director, who knew about Rice's methods and did nothing.

Now, Rutgers has brought in a new AD, Julie Hermann, who also has been accused of being abusive towards players while she was the women's volleyball coach at the University of Tennessee. Players allege that she was verbally abusive, and when they complained to her she said she didn't want to coach the team anymore. That was back in 1996.

Despite the allegations, Rutgers says Hermann will keep her job. That being said, are coaches going too far in their attempts to motivate players, or are players becoming too sensitive?
