He's at it again! Republican and presidential hopeful, Mike Huckabee appeared on CNN this morning (2/2) and as usual said some controversial  statements.

He started the exchange with this thought on same sex marriage saying it's "like asking someone who's Jewish to start serving bacon-wrapped shrimp in their deli."

Huckabee appearing on CNN's  "State of the Union," said he can have friends that don't share his values or lifestyle. He has friends that drink and swear unlike Huckabee.  He compared being gay to drinking and swearing.

Let's take a big gulp of exactly what he said-

"I don't drink alcohol, but gosh -- a lot of my friends, maybe most of them, do. You know, I don't use profanity, but believe me, I've got a lot of friends who do. Some people really like classical music and ballet and opera -- it's not my cup of tea,"

We're over 24 months away from the election. If statements like Huckabee's offends or aggravates you, get strapped in.

There will be more of these types of flip-flop remarks to come !

Having lived in Arkansas during Governor Huckabee's tenure, I met him, I was a guest at the mansion several times. The Governor was very accessible to me and the media.

I like the Governor. He's very personable and kind in nature. He is always one of the guys that lives what he believes. In other words, he walks the walk and talks the talk! I have a lot of respect "Huck" because of this standard that he lives.

It amazes me what some candidates say publically and how many of their supporters hang on every word they speak regardless of how absurd is it or sounds.

I, for one, even though I think he is a very personable and kind man, I also think he's a wing-nut at times!

Doesn't mean I don't like him!
