Dustin Lynch’s ‘Good Girl’ From CMA Fest Is Sweet and Sexy [Watch]
Dustin Lynch showcased his swagger during his performance on ABC's CMA Fest special. The singer performed his latest single, "Good Girl," and had the crowd of 60,000 at Nashville's Nissan Stadium singing along with him.
The three-minute performance features Lynch donning his signature cowboy hat, blue jeans and boots with a leather jacket. Prancing around the stage singing the heartfelt number, Lynch's soulful vocals are at the forefront of the song alongside memorable percussion, sultry guitar parts and slick production.
The lyrics portray Lynch as thankful that he has finally found a "Good Girl" that he can take home to his mama. "Still can't believe I found you, can't imagine life without you / I could take you home to mama, take you to the church right down the street / Yeah you up and took my whole world and made it so good girl," he sings on the chorus. He wrote the song with Justin Ebach and Andy Albert, and says he knew he had to release it as soon as possible.
"It came out of nowhere," the singer tells Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex of his new song. "Honestly, I was just writing because I love to write and I need to. My muscle needs to create and write. I had a couple buddies out on tour, we were on the Brad Paisley tour. They were out writing songs with me and 'Good Girl' happened out of nowhere. Since that day it has raised its hand and said, 'Me, me, me! Put me out. I need to be heard this summer.'"
