North Dakota’s Unemployment Rate is Still One Of The Lowest in the Nation
Even with the oil industry slow down in the Bakken, the slack off in drilling activity, North Dakota still has some of the lowest unemployment rates in the country.
North Dakota no longer has the lowest unemployment rate, but the state still is in the top three states with the lowest unemployment numbers according to The Bureau of Labor Statistics as reported by Business Insider. The lowest unemployment rates are in the nation belong to-
- New Hampshire and South Dakota 2.7%
- North Dakota 2.9%
- Hawaii 3.1%
The states with the highest unemployment rates include New Mexico, Mississippi, Alabama and Illinois.
