WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The Trinity Containers manufacturing plant in West Fargo is closing, putting nearly 100 people out of work.

The plant makes products for the energy industry, which is in a slump. The company says in a statement that the closure is "primarily driven by current market conditions."

Mayor Rich Mattern says the plant will start shutting down June 12 and be closed by July 22. The company will lay off 91 welders, assemblers and painters.

Mattern says the city will be working with Job Service to help the workers find new jobs.
