One of my favorite things to talk about on Breakfast With Bakken are the Feel Good Features at 8:45.  When they are local feel good topics, such as events that support and help one another in the community, I absolutely love sharing those stories.

With everything going on around the Covid 19 pandemic, many people in our community could use a hand and as always, North Dakotan's are stepping up to help each other out.  Friday, April 24th from Noon until 6:00 pm the FREEDOM FOR FOOD event will be taking place, courtesy of the Freedom Riders Motorcycle Club.  They've organized a food drive to help some of our local food pantries and soup kitchens.

You can help out by bringing donations of non-perishable food items, healthcare products (shampoo, soap, ppe, etc.), financial or perishable food items (frozen meat, etc.) to one of the 8 Bismarck locations:
