Fireworks for the New Year? Mandan-YES, Bismarck-NO!

If you plan to welcome in 2015 with fireworks, you better move across the river into Morton County.

The year round ban of fireworks continue in the city limits of Bismarck according to city officials. According to the City of Mandan website - fireworks are permitted between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 1 a.m. New Year's Day within Mandan city limits. Bottle rockets remain prohibited and a fine of $75 for violations.
