I've never traveled the world, but have always wanted to.  Kind of ironic, with COVID-19 and everybody pretty much staying put, I find myself daydreaming of a "European Vacation."  That got me thinking about major cities that share the same latitude line as our fair city of Bismarck, North Dakota.  Which by the way is 46.49 N.  That means, if you drew a circle around the world starting and ending with Bismarck, these cities would be on or close to this line.

In case you're confused on longitude and latitude, here's a refresher.  Latitude is the angular distance of a place north or south of the earth's equator, or of a celestial object north or south of the celestial equator, usually expressed in degrees and minutes.

Longitude is the angular distance of a place east or west of the meridian at Greenwich, England, or west of the standard meridian of a celestial object, usually expressed in degrees and minutes.  Got that?

One things for sure, we share the same latitude with some beautiful cities in North America and rest of the world.  Here's a look at these cities, as we go on a virtual vacation if you will, from the comfort of your own personal device.
