Garth Brooks has announced the upcoming release of a seven-disc vinyl collection titled The Legacy Collection.

The country superstar announced the collection of three different boxed sets during his weekly Inside Studio G Facebook Live broadcast on Monday night (Feb. 25). Each boxed set contains seven vinyl discs along with accompanying CDs of No Fences, The Chase, In Pieces, Fresh Horses and the recently released Triple Live album that have been created from the analog or digitally remixed and remastered recordings, along with one of six new collectible Triple Live covers.

A limited number of the boxed sets will be numbered, and fans who pre-order The Legacy Collection will be allowed to reserve a personalized number — for instance, a date that is special to them along the lines of an anniversary or birthday — that will be etched onto the side of each of the boxed sets.

Brooks also announced that the boxed set will go on sale at TalkShop.Live on GarthBrooks.com/Vinyl on Tuesday (Feb. 26) at 7PM ET / 6PM CT for the “band and crew” rate of $100 for all three boxed sets with the reserved personalized numbers.

The Legacy Collection includes the Limited Edition, in which the albums are digitally remastered from analogs or CDs; the original Analog Edition, where the albums and CDs derive from original analog recordings; and the Digitally Remixed/Remastered Edition, for which the albums and CDs are digitally remixed and/or remastered except for Triple Live.

The cover of The Legacy Collection features an image of an astronaut on the moon, inspired by a radio host's observation that Brooks would be “the first man to play on the moon.”

The Legacy Collection is currently available for pre-order, but will not ship until the fall.
