According to Inforum, Gordmans in Fargo and Grandforks are set to close in less than a year. There's no exact closing date scheduled yet. The stores just had a re-grand opening and the company has since decided it's time to close them. The company said they review their stores and the decision to close them was not an easy decision.

There's no word yet on if Bismarck or Minot stores will close. It's crazy to think of all the big stores that have closed in the last few years. Including Sears, K-Mart, and Herbergers.

The 55,000 square foot Fargo Gordmans has signs saying the store is closing. They have discounts from 10% to 30% off. Both the Fargo and Grandforks stores opened around the same time in March of 2001 and were the 37th and 38th stores in the chain. The closure came as a surprise to some loyal customers, but as no surprise to others.
