BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Ground has been broken for a $10.5 million sports complex at the new Legacy High School in northeast Bismarck.

Football and soccer fields are scheduled to be finished in October, with an eight-lane track built by next spring. The complex also is to have two softball fields, two baseball fields and two practices fields by next summer.

Bismarck Public Schools Activities Director Jim Haussler says the facility will be used by all public high schools and middles schools in Bismarck, as well as by some private schools. He calls it a "field of dreams."
