A Blizzard Warning is in effect for the area, no travel is advised, and about 200 miles of I-94 will close tonight at 5:30pm.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has announced that I-94 between Dickinson and Jamestown will close at 5:30 tonight due to the roadway becoming blocked form heavy snowdrifts.

Additionally, the road is expected to have a lot of ice on it and winds could cause blowing snow causing reduced to no visibility.

Driving on a closed road could result in a fine of $250. You can continue to monitor road conditions at www.dot.nd.gov.
