The full Harvest Moon will light up the night sky tonight at 8:38 PM local time. You may remember, we had a supermoon just a few months ago and the weather for viewing it will be perfect in Bismarck tonight.

According to Space.com, tonight's  full moon is the one nearest to the September equinox this year, giving it the moniker of Harvest Moonby the usual definition. Tonight's supermoon should appear up to 14 percent larger and  30 percent brighter than it usually does.
