BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The state Capitol halls are being turned into a shopping mall as more than 50 Pride of Dakota companies showcase their wares.

The Bismarck statehouse is hosting Pride of Dakota Day on Thursday. Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says everything from food to jewelry to art will be showcased. The booths will fill the Capitol's Memorial Hall, Legislative Hall and west end ground floor.

More than 500 North Dakota companies are members of the Pride of Dakota branding program. The annual meeting is Thursday and Friday at the Bismarck Ramada.

Gov. Jack Dalrymple has proclaimed March as Pride of Dakota Month and Thursday as Pride of Dakota Day.
