In October, Kane Brown set his song "Good as You" against the backdrop of footage from his real-life wedding, creating a romantic video that sent a message of love and devotion to his wife. Now, Brown is expanding on that sentiment with a new music video for the song that celebrates two more of the important women in his life; press play above to watch.

Brown's "Good as You" music video depicts a young boy who lives with his mom and grandmother, in a household where money is often scarce, but love never is. The mother works hard and worries about bills, but always manages to spend time with her son and his younger sister. The grandmother, who works as a sheriff, pulls up in the nick of time when the little boy is being bullied on his school playground, scaring off the other kids and taking him for a ride in her police car.

Viewers see the boy's mother cutting his sandwiches into star shapes, as he wears star-dotted pajamas and lies in bed staring at the glow-in-the-dark stars that decorate his bedroom ceiling. The theme continues until the video's very end, when the mom comes home from work to discover that the young boy and his sister have planned a star-themed party for her, complete with twinkling white string lights, a disco ball and paper stars hanging from the ceiling.

Brown tells CMT that the story behind his "Good as You" music video is semi-autobiographical: "I was raised with strong women around me. My mom worked multiple jobs and my nana truly was a sheriff in my town," he explains.

"To be able to honor them is incredible, because no matter how much we struggled, my mom and nana never let me see it. They sheltered me from any problems," he adds, "and I appreciate them for that."

"Good as You" is included in Brown's sophomore album, Experimentwhich came out in November. Currently, Brown is gearing up for the 2019 ACM Awards, where he is nominated in the Single of the Year category (for 2018's "Heaven.") He will take the stage with rapper Khalid during the 2019 awards show.
