Through the magic of radio, you may not have noticed, but I was on vacation over the last few days. I took a motorcycle trip to Des Moines, IA. This was to be the longest trip I have taken on my "crotch rocket". If you do not know, I have a Yamaha R1 which is fast-FAST and very FAST!

And this trip is 10 hours long by car, most people think that that on a motorcycle, you can arrive at your destination much quicker, but on a cycle, you have to stop and fuel up more often and stretch, so in reality, a trip on a motorcycle is some what longer.

I did find out that I29 is a very lonely stretch of highway! It's beautiful riding, but it's just not a heck of anything!

I did get to follow this trailer that was full of cows and that mist that was hitting my helmet windshield, I'm hoping that was water and not.....well, what you're thinking, what I was thinking! I could only hope.

Let's not even talk about the ride back, where I left Des Moines at 9am and finally made it to Bismarck at 3am the next morning due to rain showers for the first three hours of my trip out of Des Moines, regardless, nice to be back!
