WASHBURN, N.D. (AP) — The Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Washburn will be offering free admission for the first several weeks of 2015.

The center will offer free admission from Friday through March 15. The center also will unveil a new temporary exhibit that shows how the Lewis and Clark expedition has been represented in art.

Fort Mandan, which is just west of Washburn, was the winter home of the Lewis and Clark expedition during its 1804 journey west.
