Major Oops on CBS Affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana. Can’t Beat Live TV

KLFY TV 10 a CBS affiliate in my hometown of Lafayette, LA had a major typo over the weekend and it seem to catch everyone's attention.

I can say this, even though you may find this funny, doing what we do at Townsquare Media, including live radio and blogging, there is not one person in the building that has not been where this guy is. We've all been there. Now back to the story!

Just South-West of Lafayette, there is this little town called Gueydan. (pronounced gay-doh) I grew up just about 20 minutes from this town which is referred as The Duck Capital of the America and to celebrate they have the annual Duck Festival.

KLFY-TV was in the newscast when the TV station did a tease, to promote they were going to go live to the Gueydan Duck Festival, but as you can see in the slate, someone in master control misspelled DUCK.

Yes, the festival is known to get bigger every year! I have more one liners, but I'll keep them to myself.
