WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) — A Florida man is accused of promoting prostitution in the western North Dakota oil patch hub of Williston.

Thirty-one-year-old Trevor Fryer, of Deland, Florida, could face up to five years in prison if convicted of the felony charge. Court documents do not list an attorney for him. He's being held on $20,000 bond.

Authorities allege Fryer ran a prostitution business through an online website. He was arrested at a hotel after allegedly beating a woman who worked for him, and charged on Monday.
