DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Dickinson police have identified a man who was shot multiple times and killed after an argument at an apartment complex.

Police tell KXMV-TV (http://bit.ly/1t81weo ) 37-year-old David Porter died following the shooting Sunday after a verbal confrontation with a suspect or suspects.

Police have not announced any arrests. It's unclear if Porter was a Dickinson resident.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at Century Apartments around 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Porter was taken to an area hospital, where he died Sunday night.

Police say they are looking for a dark-colored Chrysler 300 with out-of-state license plates and tinted windows that could be involved in the shooting. An officer at the scene Sunday said the public isn't believed to be in danger.
