Man Pleads “Not Guilty” In Mandan Home Invasion Case

MANDAN, N.D. (AP) — A Bismarck man accused of attempting to force his way into a Mandan home with two girls inside has pleaded not guilty.

Forty-six-year-old Robert Meney is charged with felony criminal trespass and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison. The Bismarck Tribune reports he entered not guilty pleas Monday.

Authorities alleged that Meney on Aug. 9 tried to force his way into a mobile home occupied by 11- and 15-year-old girls. The girls managed to keep him out.
