BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bismarck police say a 27-year-old man was shot by two officers outside a mobile home and was taken to a hospital.

The Bismarck Police Department said in a news release that the Bismarck man was shot Sunday night and was undergoing surgery.

Bismarck police say Mandan police had requested they check a location for a vehicle that a suspect left in after a burglary earlier in January. According to Bismarck police, a vehicle matching a description was spotted parking, and the man went inside a mobile home. Police set up a perimeter.
