The Mandan High Boys Basketball team went to their fifth straight final eight at the Class A State Basketball Tournament this year and, though they didn't win, they still have reason to celebrate. Senior point guard Erron Collins has been named to the Class A All-State Boys Basketball Team!

Collins spent his entire high school career on the varsity basketball team and was a three year starter for the Braves. This season, he averaged nearly 19 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals a game. Collins plans to attend South Dakota Mines, where he'll continue his college career.

Collins was also a finalist for North Dakota's Mr. Basketball award.
