HILLSBORO, N.D. (AP) — A Mayville father has pleaded not guilty to a felony terrorizing charge after he allegedly threatened his 9-year-old son during a drunken dispute with his wife over a game of Yahtzee.

Brian Cutshall was charged Tuesday in Traill County District Court. He pleaded not guilty to the charge Thursday.

Court records show Cutshall's son called police on Dec. 18 to report that his parents were fighting. The documents say the boy told a responding deputy that his father threatened to kill him if he didn't call 911. They say the boy told the deputy that his mother was hitting his father when Cutshall threatened him.

WDAY-TV (http://bit.ly/1xLVp6s ) reports the boy was taken into protective custody.

Cutshall is scheduled to return to court at the end of the month. An email seeking comment was sent to his attorney Friday morning.
