Here we go again! Yesterday, I introduced you to a Minot man that got drunk and ran over himself with his own car. I graciously awarded him the Double Dummy Award. Now I see we could have a close runner up from Minneapolis- Saint Paul.

According to WCCO-TV, this guy broke into a house, ransacked it, and stole a few items. While in the house, Police say the 26-year-old crook, Nicholas Wig thought that while he had some down time, he'd check his profile from the computer while in the home he broke into, and gosh darn it, he didn’t log off. It happened June 19 in South St. Paul. The homeowner came home, noticed a screen off his back window of the house, walked in to notice that he had been burglarized  and a few items missing plus he noticed this strangers profile from Facebook on his computer. Hmmmm? Stupid move? I think so!

The homeowner, James Wood then became a genius by posting to Facebook using Wig’s profile, saying Wig had burglarized his home. He even shared his phone number to see if someone would call with information. To further prove  that Wig is probably the world's dumbest crook, Wig texted him later that day. They agreed to meet to exchange some "fake" items the crook left at the house for items he stole.
You know the rest of the story, the cops were called, and Wig is now wearing a wig  sitting with "Bu-ba" in jail facing up to $20,000 fine and 10 years in jail.

According to the local District Attorney “I’ve never seen this before,” Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom said. “It’s a pretty unusual case, might even make the late night television shows in terms of not being too bright.”
