Miley Cyrus' 2019 Glastonbury Festival set on Sunday (June 30) celebrated her current pop culture ties, allowing her to don a pink wig and sing as her Black Mirror character Ashley O -- and to team up with her famous dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, and his unlikely duet partner, rapper-on-the-rise Lil Nas X, to add more twang to the viral summer hit "Old Town Road."

The Cyrus family shares dad's familiar opening verses before allowing Lil Nas X's baritone vocals and near-boundless energy to take center-stage for yet another historic moment in his genre-defying hit's short yet eventful life. Press play above to watch their performance of "Old Town Road."

For those living under a rock, "Old Town Road" gained popularity early in the year thanks to a challenge on the TikTok smartphone app that used the song. It charted on the Hot Country Songs chart in March, only to get removed from the chart by Billboard for, according to the company, "not embrac[ing] enough elements of today’s country music to chart in its current version.” If anything, the controversy helped Lil Nas X and the song, however, catapulting an already viral hit to the top of Billboard's all-genre Hot 100 chart for 12 weeks and counting.

Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus aren't the only stars with country music ties to endorse "Old Town Road" through a collaboration, either: Keith Urban joined Billy Ray and Lil Nas X for a live performance of the track during CMA Fest 2019 in June.
