Missing Man’s Snowmobile Found in West Fargo River

WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Officials are searching the Sheyenne River in West Fargo for a missing snowmobiler.

KFGO radio reports friends reported the man missing Tuesday night when he failed to meet them to go snowmobiling. Divers later found the snowmobile submerged in the river. Authorities believe it plunged through thin ice or into open water.

The search for the man was suspended early Wednesday but was expected to resume later in the day.

The name of the man hasn't been released.
