Mookie Betts stole second base in the bottom of the 1st inning in Game 1 of the World Series and thanks to that, free tacos for everyone!

Last week, Taco Bell announced their 'Steal a Base, Steal a Taco' promotion would occur, which means that "if a player steals a base in any game throughout the World Series, you can claim a free Doritos Locos Taco from Taco Bell on November 1st from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

MVP candidate and Boston Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts singled to lead off the bottom of the 1st inning. Betts then took off for second base while left fielder Andrew Benintendi was at the plate. Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Austin Barnes' throw was off the mark and that means free tacos for everyone!

Betts would later score on Benintendi's ensuing RBI single to give the Red Sox a 1-0 lead at the time. Despite the fact that the Dodgers cut the lead to 5-4 in the 7th, pinch-hitter Eduardo Nunez hit a 3-run home run to give the Red Sox an 8-4 lead and essentially put the game away on their way to a 1-0 lead in the World Series.

Betts referenced the free tacos in the video below.

Thank you for being our 'Taco Hero,' Mookie Betts!

Free tacos for everyone next Thursday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Taco Bell.
