More Disturbing News About McCready’s Death

The Country Music family is sadden from the loss of Mindy McCready who died from a self inflicted gun shot. There is even more disturbing news coming out of the suicide. Reports from the scene indicate that McCready also killed her dog, shooting the pet first, then turning the gun on herself.

Her home was in Heber Springs, Arkansas which is about 60 miles north of Little Rock. I worked in Little Rock for 8 years in 2000. I had a former employee that lives in Herber Springs and was friends with McCeary's boy friend David Wilson, who died earlier last month, and his death is still being investigated by local officials. He tells me that in the final week of Cindy's life, she was trying to give the dog away to family or friends and no one could accept the dog at the time.

This whole situation is very sad.
